NOFTA enjoys a ‘magical’ three-day trip to the Berg

A group of senior citizens from Newcastle NOFTA recently travelled to the Drakensberg for a magical three-day getaway from March 14-17.
Every senior citizen and group member on the bus had a great time.
“We are very grateful and thankful to Marlin Veerasamy of Durban, as well as the director of Ananzi Marketing and Events South Africa, for taking such good care of the seniors,” said NOFTA chairman, Morris Gajoo. “Marlin made sure that the tour was very affordable while also providing the seniors with the best food and lovely accommodation at the Drakensberg Mountain Lodge and Resort.”
Irene Naidoo, a NOFTA committee member, agreed that they had a great time.
“The best food and entertainment were provided for our senior citizens.”
Mr Veerasamy brought a full team from Durban, including professional chefs and cooks, as well as an on-board entertainment team comprising of DJs and musicians, to keep the seniors up on their feet during the nights on tour. The tour also included a visit to the Royal National Park.
Newcastle seniors and friends are now looking forward to more outings with Mr Veerasamy and his team.
