Easter treats galore at annual church market day

Funds raised by the church are used to support St Martin’s Village, a safe haven for abandoned children which was founded through the church several years ago.

Colourful, home-baked Easter themed treats, almost too cute to eat, were available in abundance at the annual Easter market hosted by the Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 1.

Market day convener, Elke van Zyl, said the great family atmosphere and variety of stalls ensured the event was a big success.

Funds raised by the church are used to support St Martin’s Village, a safe haven for abandoned children which was founded through the church several years ago. St Martin’s Village sustains its humanitarian endeavours by selling fresh produce from the veggie garden lovingly cultivated on the property.
