Eid fair a huge success

Many people bought Eid gifts for their loved ones

The Ladysmith Women’s Forum (LWF) held an Eid Fair on Sunday (April 9) in the Soofie Musjid Hall.

Many early-morning shoppers turned up to browse through what was on offer. The stalls sold delicious eats, both savoury and sweet, as well as juice, milkshakes and much much more.

Ladies went ‘crazy’ as they shopped for the best Eid outfits.

The fair is held annually and was well attended this year.

The money that was raised will go towards buying gifts for the honourable muezzins (officials who proclaim the call to prayer).

The LWF wishes to thank the community for their wonderful support.
