Loskop farmers reap rewards at market

To boost sales and introduce small-scale farmers to a regular source of income, two locals have introduced the Loskop Farmers Market

Small-scale farming is big in Loskop.

Many residents earn an income from the produce that is cultivated on their own land.

To boost their sales and introduce them to a regular source of income, two locals have introduced the Loskop Farmers Market.

The second market was held recently and attracted several small-scale farmers, who set up their tables and proudly displayed their produce.

The initiative was the brainchild of Nathi Sithole and DJ Mpiloz.

“We want to host the market every month-end to help our local farmers. This is our way of trying to give back to our community,” said Mpiloz.
