Dunlop strike over as staff are dismissed

Workers belonging to NUMSA have been striking for the past month

Dunlop/Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (SRSA) workers have been dismissed after their one-month strike.

According to Dunlop, the illegal strike was marked by acts of violence by now former employees of SRSA who are part of the National Union of Metal Workers of South Africa (NUMSA).

SRSA extends its thanks to the community of Ladysmith and the local SAPS for standing by their side during the month-long illegal industrial action.
