Update: The power has been restored.

Parts of Ladysmith are experiencing a power failure this morning (June 6).

Some streets in Hospital Park, the Egerton area, Junction Hill and Reservoir Hill are currently without electricity.

The matter has been reported to the Electricity Department, who are investigating the matter.

According to the department, they are looking for the fault.

At this stage, it is not known when the power will be restored.
