The community of Acaciavale held their first-ever Community Policing Forum (CPF) meeting last night (June 6) in Rose Terrace. 

Over 30 people attended, including SAPS members Warrant Officer Radebe, Captain Madonsela (sector commander) and Captain Ramlutchman. 

The aim was to discuss ways in which the community can combat crime. Residents were happy to be part of the meeting and work with the police. 

According to Acaciavale CPF vice-chairperson Avash Puncham, the meeting was successful and the patrollers are ready to take on their duties. He added that they would like it if more people would join the patrol group so everyone can work together, considering that the crime rate is high in winter.
