Youth Group holds market day

Young entrepreneurs raise funds to host a Youth Day High Tea

Hafiza and Safia Mirza organised a market day recently, where the Radiant Youth Group sold yummy things to eat. Stalls were set up in front of the Countdown store.

The aim of the market day was to teach the youth entrepreneurial skills and for them to raise funds in order to host a High Tea on Youth Day.

Cooking up delicious treats to eat.

It was a successful occasion on which they raised much-needed funds.

Hafiza wishes to thank the community of Ladysmith for their wonderful support, which also made the youth feel empowered and motivated.
