Angry residents complain about potholes

"We feel ignored by the municipality"

Residents of Koppies Street are complaining about the state of the road. The tarmac is cracked and potholes are all over the place.

The roadway is already narrow and the potholes make it near impossible for vehicles to dodge the craters.

“We feel ignored by the municipality! The whole road is dotted with potholes, and other areas are cracking horribly as we speak. We have complained about this problem several times, but nothing seems to be done. This is a basic service delivery issue that is not being attended to by the ‘powers that be’, and it’s not the only one. Just look at the state of the town as a whole. We are very unhappy as the community, because these living conditions are unacceptable,” said one angry resident.
