Lost dog picked up in Egerton area

Please call 084 549 5502 if you know the owner

Update: The dog has been returned to his owner.

A male Golden Labrador dog was picked up today (June 12) on the corner of Shearer and Cunningham Road in the Egerton area.

A local woman says she was dropping children off at school when she noticed the dog wandering around.

Being a Good Samaritan, she took the dog with her and is hoping to find the owners.

She added that if the owners are not found, she will have to give the dog to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League. “I love dogs and I do not want any harm to come to this cute little one. I am hoping that he does not fall into the hands of the wrong people,” she said.
