Double murder in Hlobane

A double murder took place in the early hours of Saturday morning in Hlobane.
A man and a woman were shot dead while seated in a car along the Nongoma road at Kwavilikazi.
The incident was reported to Hlobane SAPS and officers responded to the scene. Police found that the man had been shot twice; to the right side of the neck and the right shoulder. The woman was shot four times; to the head, two shots to the chest, and one to the right shoulder. The car’s registration number indicates that it is from Ulundi. While searching the crime scene, police found two empty cartridges on the back seat of the car and three on the road. The motive for the brutal killings is unknown at this stage and police are investigating the case.
