uThukela reverses water shutdown plan
The water supply will no longer be shut down, as planned
uThukela District Municipality would like to inform the Ladysmith community that the initial plan to shut down the water supply from 17:00 this afternoon (February 10) is no longer necessary.
The municipality had initially planned to turn off the water supply from 17:00 until 18:00 Sunday evening in the CBD area, east of Francis Road and Poort Road.

uThukela stresses that they will NOT be implementing this plan anymore.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused in making preparations for the scheduled shutdown.
