Tumi is a self-reliance specialist and business co-ordinator who offers mentorship to small businesses owned by women. She has a passion for uplifting and motivating women to be comfortable in their own skin, no matter what body shape or size they may be.
“As married women, we are classified as ‘strong’, which is why we easily fall into depression, as we believe we must be strong in everything and for everyone. If we are ‘anchors’, the question remains: Who is strong for us? We take care of our homes, children and husbands; so when is it about us? I encourage every single woman out there to find their talents and passion, and follow their dreams. Make it about you this time around!” says Tumi.
She is wished all the best as a Mrs South finalist. Let’s all watch this space and see how she does as the competition progresses to its next stage.
