Young Jessie blessed with ‘new wheels’
Jessie Sanashi has been blessed with a brand new wheelchair, which will help make life a little easier for him.

The 23 year old was involved in a car accident in 2020, which left him quadriplegic.
According to Ali Hoosen of the Ward 3 War Room, Jessie’s mom reached out to him for assistance after her son seemingly grew out of the wheelchair he was using at the time.
Hoosen decided to reach out to local optometrist and humanitarian, Rubeena Jadwat, who jumped in and helped without hesitation.
Hoosen, together with Ward 3 councillor Connie Harriram, met with Jadwat on Saturday, June 1, where she handed over the wheelchair to them.
Mrs. Gangat, elated with gratitude, wished to thank everyone involved for blessing her son with something he so desperately needed.
“Being blessed with a new chair suitable to his size means he will be able to go outside again and not be stuck indoors for the rest of his life,” she explained.
