Municipality aims to better Newcastle roads

The Newcastle municipality highlights pivotal projects geared towards improving the road conditions in the district.

The municipality is undertaking extensive re-graveling projects in Madadeni, Osizweni, Blaauwbosch, and surrounding areas, reconstructing a bridge destroyed by the recent storm in Mndozo, and relentlessly patching potholes across the town.

Commenting on the projects, Newcastle Mayor Xolani Dube stated that their hope is that the work will change the lives of Newcastle residents.

“These projects resonate deeply with our community members, they have voiced their concerns about road safety, and as a caring local government, we are committed to addressing these critical issues daily, “he stated.
