The Department of Health has confirmed that three more cases of Mpox (also known as Monkey Pox) have been recorded as of this afternoon (June 25).

Also, one more patient has died.

The latest cases include a 40-year-old man from Ladysmith, who presented with Mpox-like symptoms that included a rash all over his body.

He died at home and the results came back positive for Mpox on Sunday (June 23).
