Children let loose at kids fun fair

Shrieks, squeals, giggles and gales of exuberant laughter resounded throughout the Kids Fun Fair hosted by the St Lutheran Church on July 27.

Games and activities at the fair provided children with ample opportunity to let loose, practice their aim and agility and win great prizes.

With its focus on creating a healthy, happy environment for children to thrive, the event was well-suited as a fundraiser for St Martins Children’s Home, a temporary place of safety for abused, abandoned and neglected babies.

“The event was organised by a member of our congregation. The purpose of St Martins Village is to provide children with a secure, integrated, enabling environment as well as to help families to help children thrive. That’s what the fun day was all about,” said Pastor Thomas of the St Lutheran Church. I am happy that everybody enjoyed themselves at the event but the highlight was definitely how much the kids enjoyed it,” he concluded.
