NHS Class of 2024 wows at masquerade matric dance
The momentous occasion, which marked the end of the student’s school years for the class of 2024, was held under the theme of the Masquerade Ball.
It was a night of elegance and mystery at the Newcastle High School matric dance held at the Blue Ridge Crystal on Wednesday (November 27).
The Blue Ridge location was turned into an elegant ballroom decked in lavish colours of black and silver, resembling a scene right out of a masquerade-themed Hollywood movie.
As learners arrived, their excitement was evident, with young men dressed in smart suits and ladies in stunning floor-length gowns. The night did not disappoint, with jaw-dropping entrances featuring sports cars and motorcycles.
Upon arrival, the guests of honour were greeted by enthusiastic friends and relatives who cheered them on as they enthusiastically strutted down the runway.
They were led to their beautifully decorated hall where they received sparkling beverages before standing for a professional photo shoot to memorialise the momentous occasion.
The dance proved to be an enchanting evening, filled with dancing, laughter, music and memories that would last them a lifetime.
