Public notice: Help trace the family of Ms. Letsoane Mayine

The Department of Health is appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the family of Ms. Letsoane Mayine, a patient at Madadeni Provincial Hospital in Newcastle.

Ms. Mayine suffers from a mental disorder and has partial recollection of her past.

She has told the department that she is from Botha-Botha Village in Lesotho and came to South Africa to work as a domestic worker. But she cannot recall the date that she arrived in South Africa.

She has been admitted in Madadeni Provincial Hospital since 2009.

Ms. Mayine has mentioned that her parents’ names are Majaleng and Thabo Mayine.
