Fun, food and fashion at MMG Food Fest

The event, hosted across the dealership, was a fun-filled day brimming with tasty treats and lively entertainment.

Mortimer Motors Group (MMG) Newcastle hosted its much anticipated Food Festival on Saturday, March 8.

Guests were treated to a wide selection of food stalls, offering everything from scrumptious food and stalls set up inside the dealership offering everything from toys to handcrafted jewellery.

A jumping castle and a ride on the Quad train kept all the energetic kids entertained while parents perused the stalls and enjoyed the afternoon out.

Tara Wood of Travellers Pop Up Markets & Events expressed her gratitude to MMG for creating a platform that allowed small, local businesses to thrive.

“Despite the wonderful venue, perfect weather, excellent local entertainment and high spirits of vendors the market was very poorly attended.”

The low attendance could also be  attributed to the news of the closure of ArcelorMittal prompting families to  cut down on any spending to remain financially afloat.

“We are appreciative to those who did come out, we saw their effort to make a difference to small businesses, “said Wood

The event not only provided entertainment for families but also showcased the importance of supporting local businesses, all while contributing to a great cause. The day was a perfect blend of fun, community engagement, and local entrepreneurship.
