Easter magic and bunny hugs at Sunnybank

The school has a heartwarming celebration filled with laughter, love, and the joy of the upcoming Easter holiday.

Giggles and squeals of delight echoed through Sunnybank Play and Learn Centre last Thursday (April 17), as students were treated to a surprise visit from a very special guest—the Easter Bunny.

The morning unfolded with wide eyes and excited whispers as the children eagerly greeted the fluffy visitor, each taking a turn to pose for a photo and share a cheerful hug.

After the excitement of meeting the Easter Bunny, the children set off on a mini Easter egg hunt around the garden. Hidden among flowerbeds, shrubs, and toy houses, marshmallow eggs waited to be discovered. Guided by their teachers, the little ones searched high and low, helping each other along the way and proudly sharing their sweet treasures.

Adding meaning to the day, the centre also shared the Easter message of Jesus with the children.

“Sunnybank Play and Learn Centre celebrated Easter with a special message about Jesus. We hope everyone had a blessed Easter weekend,” said principal Mandy.

She also extended heartfelt thanks to the Factory Plaza Easter Bunny for making the visit extra memorable.

While the treats and songs brought smiles, it was the spirit of togetherness and joy that truly made the day special. For the children of Sunnybank, this Easter will be remembered not just for the chocolate, but for the magic of bunny hugs, shared laughter, and the warmth of community.
