Highlanders dominate weekend rugby fixtures with three victories

The Highlanders enjoyed a successful weekend of rugby, winning three out of four matches and drawing the fourth in front of a packed stadium.

The first team drew 20-all against Secunda after leading 14-7 at half-time.

The Highlanders’ second team avenged their previous 60-0 defeat to Secunda with a resounding 50-14 victory, a testament to their growth and determination.

The fourth team also celebrated success, defeating Utrecht Rugby Club 51-12, while the Highlanders Women’s team delivered a convincing 29-10 win over the Bears Women’s team.

The Newcastle Boschpick Highlanders expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their fans who came out to support the teams.

“It warmed our hearts and motivated us to deliver our best performances, knowing our community was there to support us. Thank you!” said the club.

This weekend, the Highlanders 1st and 2nd teams will take on Bethal Rugby Club in an away game, while the Highlanders 3rd team will play Flying Eagles on Friday evening.
