The Newcastle Old Tooters Club hosted the eagerly awaited Ultimate Car Show on Saturday, 9 August, at the Old Monte Vista Casino.

The event featured a stunning display of vintage vehicles, including a 1952 Willys Overland four-wheel-drive station wagon and a classic 1959 Ford Galaxie.

Visitors browsed an assortment of market stalls, relaxed in the beer garden, and enjoyed live performances by local band Smokkelhuiz.

Show-goer Issie De Swardt said: “The day was wonderful. It was great to see such good organisation, and people kept the area so clean. The old cars brought back great memories. Thank you to all who made this day such a great success. I am looking forward to the next show.”

Traveller’s Pop-Ups commented: “Thank you to the community of Newcastle for making this day a great success. They showed up and supported Newcastle’s small businesses. It was a great day.”

The organisers extended their gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the event’s success.
