One person is believed to have died after two vehicles collided on the Skombaren Road between Dannhauser and Alcockspruit earlier this morning (August 27).

The second patient sustained injuries and was treated at the scene.

Authorities warned that traffic remains severely impacted due to emergency officials conducting preliminary investigations, and motorists are being advised to use alternative routes via Sunset Rest.

The exact cause of the collision remains unclear and will be subject to further investigation.
