Airshow organisers confirm they will not host 2025 event

Organisers thanked its loyal supporters for year’s long support, while confirming their exit from the 2025 airshow. Read more here:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal supporters and the Newcastle community for their unwavering encouragement over the years.

After successfully hosting the Newcastle Airshow for the past 11 years, we will unfortunately not be hosting the 12th Annual Newcastle Airshow.

This year, the Newcastle Municipality and Newcastle Council have awarded the rights to host the event to another company.

While this decision is beyond our control, we remain proud of the incredible journey we’ve shared with the community, our partners, and aviation enthusiasts from across South Africa.

The Newcastle Airshow has grown into one of the country’s most anticipated aviation events, and it has been our privilege to bring world-class displays and unforgettable experiences to our city.

We extend our best wishes for the continued success of the event under its new organisers and sincerely thank every supporter who has been part of this journey with us.

Feel free to email us on info@champ.co.za or visit www.champgroup.co.za for info on any of our other events.

Disclaimer: This statement is intended solely to inform our supporters and stakeholders of organizational changes regarding the Newcastle Airshow.
