Vryheid police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man who was found deceased in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Body discovered in Demoina Avenue

According to authorities, the body was discovered at approximately 02:00 in Demoina Avenue. The man is believed to be around 35 years old. At the time he was found, he was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black Nike takkies.

Investigation underway

The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.

Public urged to assist

Police have urged anyone who may recognise the description or who has information that could assist in identifying the man to come forward. Members of the public can contact Sergeant Nyandeni on 078 571 5340.
