Municipality warns of water interruptions after pipe bursts
Residents face 5 to 6 hours of water interruptions today.
The Newcastle Municipality has informed residents of Sunny Ridge, Amajuba Park and Pioneer Park of interruptions to their water supply following a burst pipe in Kameelperd Avenue.
Repairs expected to take up to six hours
According to the municipality, the water supply interruption is due to a burst pipe at 27 Kameelperd Avenue.
The closure will remain in place until the burst pipe has been repaired, with the work expected to take approximately five to six hours.
“The Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused,” the municipality said.
