Vryheid High keeping busy…

On Wednesday, May 17, head boy Wandile Xaba went to participate at the Sharks final CD trials.

We had a blood drive on Thursday, May 18. The learners aged 16 and above had the chance to donate blood to the national blood service. It is always a good thing when you are able to help save a life.

On Saturday, May 20, we travelled to Dundee High School for a fixture. Our U/14 rugby team won 5-0. The U/15s lost 0-8 and U/16s lost 5-10. The second team rugby won 24-5 and our first team won 24-13.

Netball: U/14s won 15-4, U/15s won 18-9 and U/16s won 22-6. The second team netball girls lost 4-15. The first team had a very tough game but showed excellent sportsmanship and didn’t stop fighting until that last whistle blew. The chess lost 4-6.
