Bright Start Academy hosts successful career day

Bright Start Academy had its highly anticipated annual careers day at the school on July 30.

Learners arrived at school dressed up to demonstrate the careers they wish to follow in the future.

They were also treated to many surprise visits from their ‘local heroes’, including firefighters, police officers, doctors, and even an accountant.

The learners had a great experience and were kept thoroughly entertained by all the different presentations.

“Bright Start Academy students were held captivated by different personnel, which enlightened and educated learners on different types of careers,” stated Principal K. Govender.

The principal and staff of Bright Start Academy would like to thank the Traffic Department, the South African Police Services, the Fire Department, Trivs Ambulance Services, and Vaneshree Biggar.

“We couldn’t have done it without their great assistance and amazing presentations, and we thank them for taking time off their busy schedules to make our event a success and for being so kind and friendly towards our learners,” she concluded. |
