Who doesn’t enjoy a tasty pasta dish topped with cheese and mushrooms?
We’ve created the perfect, quick, and delicious biltong pasta potjie recipe that will leave your taste buds begging for more!
Ingredients:
- 500g pasta noodles
- 250ml sour cream or 250ml fresh cream (optional)
- Finely chopped green and red peppers
- Two chicken stock blocks
- One tablespoon Herbs
- One tablespoon garlic paste
- +- 500g sliced biltong of your choice
- One large finely chopped
- 500g grated cheddar cheese
- 500g mushrooms
- Eight tablespoons tomato paste
Sauce:
- Meld the chicken stock, herbs, and 500ml boiling water, then add the tomato paste.
Directions:
- Fry the onions, garlic, and green peppers in oil until the onions are soft.
- Add the pasta and cook for about 30 minutes, or until the pasta is soft.
- Stir in the sour cream and mushrooms.
- Stir in the biltong and cheese.
Allow this to simmer for 30 minutes on low heat before serving.
