CONGRATULATIONS to John Cross and Nolan Malan for receiving the bronze medal in the All Natal Tournament which was played in Pietermaritzburg.
132 teams competed for gold. The club is very proud of both of you.
We are also proud to announce that at the Special General Meeting held on July 9, a new club crest was voted for, namely the Gurney’s Sugarbird perching on an Aloe flower. The new club shirt is on display at the club. Please place your orders as soon as possible.
On Saturday our Club Drawn Pairs were played. Well done, Ilva and Jan, on your win with +26 and runners up, Margaret and Nolan with +16.
Please take note that the KZNCB Annual General Meeting and the Squad Practice is coming up and will be held at our club on August 2. We will need all available hands to help.
Our Spring Tournament is coming up very soon and we hope to get as many teams as possible from our members. For this major event, we expect each and every member to come forward to assist, as this is our main fundraiser for the year. Please let the committee know when and where you will be able to help.
Good luck to all bowlers playing in Pongola this weekend in their fundraising competition.
