Nan and Tewie win bowls final

This new format was exciting, with some top bowls being played and completed over the weekend.

Nan and Tewie won a fiercely-fought club drawn pairs competition in the final against Greg and Kevin. The runners-up in the section playoffs were Sylvia and Willie, and Dudley and Lourens. This new format was exciting, with some top bowls being played and completed over the weekend. 


Please note all greens will be closed for next two weeks, from August 11 to 22. Arrangements have been made with Newcastle Bowling Club, Vryheid Bowling Club and Ladysmith Country Club, should any members wish to play or practice. A contingent of players will be going to play in Ladysmith on Wednesday. Anyone interested must contact Lourens on 082 875 5419. 
Two Dundee teams played in Scottburgh in the week.

Dundee Bowling Club is a great venue for functions or parties, and is fully-licensed. Contact President John Davison on 083 795 6642 for information. Call in at the bowls club on Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Visitors are welcome.
