It’s a bulls-eye for Aveen
He is the only player from KwaZulu-Natal to represent South Africa at both international tournaments for darts.
Aveen Jagath is darting ahead of the competition – locally and nationally.
The local detective was recently selected to represent KwaZulu-Natal at the National SAP Darts Championships and the National Corporate Championships, and was also selected to represent South Africa at the SARPCCO Games in 2015.
At the National Corporate Championships, which were held from September 23 to 28, Aveen represented the SAP national team, which finished second in the tournament.
Twelve teams participated overall which included SA Mines, Telkom, the SAP and the SABC.
Aveen came in first place, and was nominated joint player of the Player of the Tournament together with Dane Rudman of SA Mines.
Aveen was selected for the South African National Corporate team and will represent South Africa at the Zone VI tournament to be held in Botswana.
He is the only player from KwaZulu-Natal to represent South Africa at both international tournaments for darts.
