K9 officers get fit and go for goal

The Dog (K9) Units from Ladysmith, Newcastle, Vryheid and Mahlabathini held an indoor soccer tournament yesterday (Wednesday) at the Indoor Sports Complex.The tournament was part of their fitness training for when they are out in the field, and also serves to build friendship between the various units. 

The officers had a fun-filled workout as all the units played three games of 30 minutes each. The ‘men in blue’ from Ladysmith were impressive, scoring three goals in the first half of the first game.After the indoor soccer fitness training, they all had a braai to end off a productive day.
