Last Saturday a BBBS competition, kindly sponsored by Estcourt Autopage and others in aid of Drakensberg Primary School, was played. Thanks to all golfers who participated a good amount was raised for a worthy cause!

Winners with a score of 49 points on a three way count out were Vernon Naidoo and Murray Hume with Wilfie Laatz and Carlo Piagesti in second place and Phiwe Mabaso and Frank Ashe taking the third spot. Closest to the pins were Luke Schiever on numbers three and seven, Phiwe on number 12 and Deejay Ramdhav on number 16. There were no two clubs and the longest drive was won by Wilfie.

The Wednesday comp. was won by Craig Hamman and Mike Woodridge on a 46 point three way count out and the Friday nine hole ind stab comp by Seo Mtetwa with a score of 23. This Wednesday (today) will be a BBBS comp and then on Saturday, October 18 will be a Combined Stab comp. Please diarise Sunday, October 26 when a BBBS comp in aid of Drakensberg Secondary School will be played. The R200 entry includes breakfast and lunch with prizes to be won in excess of R8 000. The time sheet has been posted on the club notice board and all golfers are requested to get their names down as early as possible!
