There has been quite a shuffle on the Harcourts’ leaderboard. Tewie’s Eventide are new leaders on 12+18, followed closely by Danie’s LRA with 11+17. At this stage of the competition positions are hotly contested, with Mike’s Moths on 10+27, Michael’s NEMS on 10 +25 and Willie’s KZN Debt Counsellors on 10+17 and Nan’s BCL on 10+16. 
Close on their heels is Frank’s Buffalo Coal team on 9 +3, Braam’s Botha’s Blocks on 9 -9, followed by the Stone contenders. 
With weather threatening and darts in position, the weatherman played the game and games were completed. This was followed by some long awaited fun darts and a lovely braai evening.
The November business league is nearly over-subscribed – the first 12 teams to pay will play. See the list in the pub – only one spot left! Four Dundee bowling club members participated in the Northern KZNCB Open Singles in Newcastle at the weekend. The ladies’ champion was Nan Roos, and the men’s was Sid Price. 
A large group of bikers and motor enthusiasts from all over KZN gathered at the club on Saturday evening and were entertained by their new members, James and Annie Miller. All had only praise for the wonderful clubhouse facilities that the club has. Dundee Bowling Club is a great venue for your Christmas functions or parties, and is fully-licensed. Contact Sylvia (081 046 8140) or Nan (082 446 9916) to book or for information. Anyone interested in playing bowls can call in at club on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays – all welcome. Come support the Harcourts Business League on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm onwards.
