On Sunday, October 26 a shotgun start was needed to get a full field of golfers away in a BBBS competition.
This was a sponsored day to raise funds for the Drakensberg Secondary School and a big thank you must go to all the sponsors, the organisers and of course all the golfers who participated. Visitors from all over were welcomed.

Winners with a score of 49 points were Carlo Piagesti and Bruce Hall on a three way countout from second placed Mayur Baboolal and Rishi Goodram and third placed Nawal Ramdin and Anill Magan. Mark and Ian Freeman took fourth place with a score of 48 points. In fact there were generous prizes all the way down to 18th place. Closest to the pin on number three was Arnold Boettiger, on seven was Melton Schiever, on 12 was Muyur and on 16 was Gail Boettiger.

The competition on Saturday was a club sponsored BBBS with Kamy Baboolal and Gordon Chotu winners on 45 points.
44 points earned second place for Arnold and Gail Boettiger with third place going to Gordon Smith and Lional Laatz on 43 points. Gordon was closest to the pin on number three and there were no clubs.
The winner of the Friday nine hole ind stab comp was Isaac Mvelase with 21 points and the Wednesday comp, also an ind stab, was Harry Koovarjee with 40 points.

All players are requested to write their full names, first name and surname, on their score cards to facilitate the checking of the cards after the game. Please note that the Estcourt Open weekend will be from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November. Details have been posted on the club notice board. Also to diarise is Saturday, November 29 when the Captain vs President comp will take place followed by the club dinner.
