SM Cricket coach Shaldon Mungroo held a tournament for all the children in Gazza Place on Saturday morning.
There were fixtures and special trophies, and every child received a medal at the end of play. Lunch and drinks were provided to give the little players some sustenance and much-needed refreshment.
“I would like to thank Sharaj Ambulance Services, Deen, ABI, Swanky (EVA), Ladysmith Cricket Academy and the Department of Sport & Recreation for all their help and support,” said Shaldon.
Cricket training is held every Friday in Gazza Place from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, and every Saturday from 9am to 11pm. For more info, contact Coach Shaldon on 078-027-8395.
