Action-packed cricket

The weather played its part and the cricket action did not disappoint either during an action-packed weekend.
Mascor vs Ace Eagles – 30 overs
Ace Eagles batted first, making 117 all out. Waheed scored 31 and Amed made 22. Oniel was in fine form, taking an impressive 6/15, while Vernen took 2/25. Mascor then chased down the total with 11 overs to spare and six wickets in hand. Logan top-scored with 53 and Ashvir chipped in with 25. Kyle took 2/5 and Imtiaaz took 2/23 for Ace Eagles.

Molls vs Asia 11 – 30 overs
Asia 11 batted first and were bowled out for only 81. Saeed and Shocket both top scored with ten each. Wilfred took 3/9 in six overs and Carl took 2/6 in three overs as the Molls bowlers were in excellent form. Molls then chased down the total in 7 overs. Cameron made 26 not out, Brett made 24 and Colin made 19 not out as Molls raced to victory. Farouk took 1/27 and 1/20 as Asia failed to peg back the Molls batsmen.

Mascor vs Ace Eagles – 50 overs
Ace Eagles batted first and made 165 all out in 33 overs. Waheed made 46 and Ameel made 31. Vernen was the chief destroyer, taking 5/31. His five-wicket haul included a hat-trick in his sixth over. Oniel also impressed, taking 3/47. Mascor then made the total in 27 overs with seven wickets to spare. Saied was brilliant with the bat, making 52 not out, and Ashvir made 31 as Mascor cruised to victory. Waheed took 2/39 and Yusuf took 1/5 for Ace Eagles.

Asia 11 vs Pakistan Lions – 50 overs
Pakistan Lions batted first and scored 177 all out. Mustafah made 43 and Manzoor made 25 for the Lions. Saeed took 3/36 and Farouk took 2/43. Asia 11 then took to the crease and were bowled out for 110. Suleman made 18 and Ahmed Saeed made 17. Ashfar destroyed the Asia 11 batting line-up, taking 6/19, while Abdul took 1/15.
