JKA excellence rewarded

They underwent extensive training during the course of the year, culminating in this achievement.

Five karateka of JKA Karate-Ka obtained their first degree Shodan black belts recently.

After a two hour hard training session led by sensei Johan Le Grange, the karateka, Jamie Steenkamp, Miriam Khan, Ahhad Talukder, Tracy July and Zodumo Xaba were awarded for their perseverance and dedication.

They underwent extensive training during the course of the year, culminating in this achievement.

Sensei Andries Fourie and and sensei Gideon de Villiers were recently ranked internationally as second Dan, which is impressive as they achieved their first Dan ranks two years ago.

All these achievements have left the JKA extremely proud.
