Charles Wagner Memorial golf day attracts good field

Winners on a 110 point count out were Messrs Baboolal, Ghasitha, Koovarjee and Enslin

On Saturday, December 13 the popular annual Charles Wagner Memorial Golf Day attracted a field of nearly 50 players. A big thank you to the Wagner families for organising this day, which has been running for 10 years. Winners on a 110 point count out were Messrs Baboolal, Ghasitha, Koovarjee and Enslin. In second place were Messrs Fick, McLuckie, Hall and Piagesti.

Third place on 110 points were Messrs Fick, Wood, Geraty and Smith. Fourth place on 107 points were Messrs Omardath, Chotu, Ramdhav and Baboolal. Closest to the pins were Roy Ramkasoon – number three, Bridget Laatz – number seven, Viren Omardath – number 12 and Rajen Goodoon – number 16.

Two clubs were had by Guy Henderson on number three and Ruan Enslin, Jackson Fick and Viren Omardath all on number 12. Again to the Wagner families we appreciate your effort and generosity. All players received a prize.

The Wednesday comp was won by Deejay Ramdhav and Hansie Moolman and the Friday nine hole winner was Vaughan Ric Hansen. This week will be competitions on Wednesday and Saturday. All details have been posted on the club notice board.
