The meat competition played on December 24, in the form of an IPS, was won by Dan Scholtz on 28 points, second Jurie Engelbrecht on 20 points counted out from Carl Pieterse.
The Rodger Ross Memorial Trophy, played on December 26, attracted a good field. The competition was played in the form of an IPS.
The winners were as follows: first Patrick Mthembu on 39 points, second Sifiso Kunene on 38 points counted out from Jurie Engelbrecht and Thian Potgieter, fifth Mandla Mthethwa on 37 points counted out from Loraine de Wit.
The meat competition played on December 31 in the form of an IPS was won by Dan Scholtz on 22 points, second Sibusiso Sithole on 21 points counted out from Sibusiso Mthembu.
The meat competition played on January 2 in the form of an IPS was won by Arno Gunther on 25 points, second Debbie Catlett on 24 points counted out from Louis Albertse Jnr on 24 points.
Saturday’s Club Competition played in the form of a Combined Stableford was won by Cameron Fogg and Arno Gunther on a good 78 points, second Aaron Mbatha and Blessing Chiwaya on 72 points and third John Zulu and Gene Robson.
Please note that there will be meat competitions on Wednesdays and Fridays in the form of an IPS.
Please also note that this Saturday there will be the January Mug and the first Mug of Mugs for the year being played.
The club would like to see a good field.
The competition will be played in the form of an Individual Medal.
Dundee Country Club will be hosting the Northern Natal Open Stroke Play Championships on January 18 (Sunday). Closing date for entries is Thursday, January 15.
