Vryheid Swimming Club – A myriad of medals for swimmers

The children did very well and Vryheid took fourth place overall.

CHILDREN from Vryheid Swimming Club competed in the uThukela District Long Course Championships recently.

The following children received medals: Dirk Grobler (11) two silver; Jaco Schutte (16) six gold; Carla Combrink (16) four gold and one bronze; Timon Von Benecke (18) four gold and one silver; Mia van Deventer (9) one bronze; Berne van Heerder (12) three silver and two bronze; Dylan Wessels (16) two bronze; Pierre Grobler (9) two bronze; Muller Smith (13) one silver and one bronze; Kirsten Verschuuren (15) three bronze; Christopher Doust (16) one bronze; Astrid Kohlmeyer (17) one bronze and Karl Kohlmeyer (15) one bronze.

The children did very well and Vryheid took fourth place overall.

Congratulations to Ashley Reimer for competing in the KZN Aquatics Premier Champs 2014 in Durban in December. Ashley made two finals and improved on her times. We are proud of you.
