‘Die Boere’ take the lead in Bowls League

... but there are six games left and a lot can change.

The LRA Business League is being fiercely contested with Dirk’s Boere taking the lead with 12+20 points. The two Buffalo Teams are chasing close behind – Frank with 11+18 and Angus with 10+17.
Coming up from behind is the LRA team with 8+23, trying to defend their title they won last year!
KZN Debt Councillor and the Malan team are both on 8+17 and Farmtrac Moths on 8+12. TShirts4Afrika 7+6 and Braytons 6-3 are also fighting for log positions.

This has been the most competitive competition we have had to date. Entries on the notice board for the KZNCB Northern’s Mixed Pairs played in Newcastle this coming week-end February 14/15 and the KZNCB. Northerns’ Men and Ladies Pairs will be played in Vryheid February 28 and March 1.
The Northerns’ Zone Meeting will be held in Dundee on Friday 13 at 3pm. The new ‘barflies’ fun bowls and family day starts on Sunday, February 15 (Tabs In from 11am) 2 Games of 7 ends also Barefoot bowls for the kids. All welcome, draw one bowler per team.
