Last Saturday the Lalparsad Attorneys Monthly Mug combined with the Mug of Mugs and the Ind Stab comps were played.  Preceding the comps the Shootout was contested during the morning.  Owen McLuckie won the shootout and then Lional Laatz emerged as the winner of the Mug, Mug of Mugs and the Ind Stab.
He carded a 66 nett and amassed 42 stableford points.  To add to his day of success he also won the jackpot with 12 points.  Well done Lional! Second in both comps was Robbie Wattruss with a nett 69 and 39 points on a countout from third placed Paddy Geraty.
Fred Vickers was fourth in the Ind Stab with 37 points.
Closest to the pin on number two after two shots was Viren Omardath and on number three off the tee was Vaughan Ric Hansen.  Two clubs went to Arnold Boettiger on number three, Deejay Ramdhav on number 12 and Seo Mtetwa on number 16.  The Friday nine hole comp was won by Dave Diedrick with 20 points and I am told that the Wednesday winners were Willem Erasmus and Eijvind Vlok.
This Wednesday (today) and Saturday, February 14 will be club sponsored BBBS comps.
