Racing at the Oval Track last Saturday was sheer high-powered fun.

Tiaan Buys sped into first place during the Rookies division and was followed by Stevan van der Merwe in second place.

Shokut Khan secured first place in the 1600 category, with JP Bruin in second place and Ali Jamalodeen in third position.

In the 1660 division, Pieter Bester Jnr won first place, Imraam Ameer took second place and he was followed by Johan Buys in third position.

Francois Greyvenstein secured the win during the two-litre division, with Hendrik van der Merwe in second position and Pieter Bester Snr in third place.

Hendrik van der Merwe won the Hot Rods category, with Riaan Visagie in second place and Rooise Labuschagne taking third place.

Boet Buys sped into first place during the Tin Tops division, followed by Flip Gericke in second and Hendrick van der Merwe in third place.

The final race of the nights was the V8 Flexi division, which was won by Wimpy Bezuidenhout.

The next racing event is set to take place on March 28.
