Save the date to watch local sports talent in action on Saturday, March 7. The Wembezi Stadium will be the place where all the soccer, volleyball, netball and fun run action will take place.

This sports day is an initiative adopted by the Wembezi police who say that their aim is to encourage the youth to engage in sports rather than drugs and alcohol.

Thus far all soccer, netball and volleyball teams have registered and a soccer knock-out will be held this Saturday to determine the top six teams that will play at the main event on March 7. Interested individuals who would like to take part in the fun run can do so on the day.
