The KZN Women’s Team took part in the South African Freshwater Bank Angling Federation (SAFBAF) SA Championships that was held at the well known Bloemhof Dam at the beginning of February.
The women took first place after the first days fishing and remained there for the rest of the championships, thus earning the team a Gold medal .
K Spiece, S McQuade, N Mostert, L Gunter, L Boshoff and E Marx were nominated to fish for their SAFBAF Colours.
N Mostert was selected for the SAFBAF A team while K Spiece and S McQuade were nominated for the SAFBAF B team.
L Boshoff was named Victrix Ludorum and N. Mostert was runner-up.
