Around the oval we go

The track is set, the cars are prepped, and all that is left is you and the races will begin.

With petrol prices increasing, you may no longer be able to do a five-minute shopping run across town.

However, you can pay the Newcastle Oval Track a visit this week, and watch the racers there tear around the track.

This weekend once again promises to be an excellent showcase of driving skills, as racers look to find the inside line, or rocket past their opponents by following an outside line.

The track is set, the cars are prepped, and all that is left is you and the races will begin.

So ensure you are at the Oval Track on April 25 at 6pm  and experience the glory first hand.

Remember, the races now include a women’s division, and cooler boxes and braai stands are welcome.
