Last Saturday the Monthly Mug combined with the Ind Stab competitions were played in rather chilly conditions. The winner of both comps. with a nett 68 and 40 points was Ram Ramwater. Close on his heels was Wilfie Laatz with a nett 69 and 39 points.

Third place went to Deejay Ramdhav who had a nett 71 and 37 points. Closest to the pin on number two after two shots was Melton Schiever and on number three off the tee was Frank Ashe. Frank sank his putt for the only two club of the day.

Ruben Meades won the jackpot with a score of 11 points. Well done to Ram and all the other prize winners. The Wednesday, June 3 BBBS comp was won by Vaughan Ric Hansen and Walter Nagel and the Friday nine hole comp by Bunn Hamman.

Today, (Wednesday, June 10) will be a BBBS comp and then on Saturday, June 13 the Sanlam Cancer Challenge will be played in three divisions. All golfers are requested to enter this comp. the proceeds of which assist in the fight against cancer. Please diarise Saturday, June 20 when the Gerry’s Motors/Estcourt Wagon Four Ball Alliance comp will be held.

The participants in the matchplay competition are requested to check the notice board for all the details. Please note that if the matches are not played by the due date then the participants will be disqualified
